Yummy Banana Bread

So I decided to try making some banana bread with all these over ripe bananas that I froze.  I found this yummy recipe on this great blog Julia's Album.  It was so simple and turned out DELISH!

Ingredients:

3 ripe bananas, smashed
1/3 cup melted butter
2/4 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Preparations:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In a large bowl, mix butter into the mashed bananas, using a wooden spoon.  Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla.  Sprinkle the basking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.  Add the flour las, mix just enough to blend the ingredients; do not over mix, the lumps will work themselves out.

Add chopped walnuts to the batter and mix them in to distribute evenly through the batter.
Butter a 4x8 inch loaf pan, line the bottom with parchment paper, butter the parchment paper too.  Pour the batter in the pan, bake for 1 hour.
Cool on a rack.  Remove from pan and enjoy!
